Last week, FUEL-UP project partners met in the beautiful Prague, hosted by Ranido, to discuss the project’s research progress after 25 months of activities and to present the project’s future plans.
The first day kicked off with in-depth work package presentations, showcasing the significant milestones achieved and mapping out the project’s future activities.
In the afternoon, we had a comprehensive tour of the Laboratory of Catalyst Performance Testing at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague (UCT Prague) campus, where catalysts are evaluated at lab- and pilot-scale for activity, selectivity, stability, and overall performance under relevant process conditions.
On the second day, the partners had the privilege of visiting Ranido’s Research and Development Centre (R&D), located in the Technopark of UCT in Kralupy nad Vltavou. The experience was very inspiring and provided deeper insight into catalyst development and catalyst custom manufacturing. Ranido´s R&D Center in Kralupy is well-equipped for catalyst research and development, including preparation, characterization, and evaluation.
Ranido is a Czech company engaged in research, development and production of catalysts. With more than 50 employees and more than 20 years of experience in the field of industrial catalysts, the company has become a leader in custom catalyst manufacturing.
A big thank you to Ranido’s team for their helpfulness and sharing of know-how.
